Maricel Sison is a Los Angeles based event & lifestyle photographer, who brings a photo-journalistic perspective and an artistic twist to her audience.

Her career in photography began in the ever-evolving independent music scene of Los Angeles, where she was called upon to capture moments featuring musical icons such as Stevie Wonder, Raphael Saadiq, Kool Herc, and Wooden Wisdom (Elijah Wood) to name a few. Hosting portrait sessions for artists such as France's DJ Cam and snapping shots for labels from coast to coast, such as LA's Stones Throw Records and Brooklyn's Bastard Jazz Recordings, imprints are also amongst Maricel's clientele. She also has shot events hosted by Adidas as well as delving into food photography for clients like Hakassan of Beverly Hills and Puesto for the Beaujolais Wine Council.

Aside from the music, Maricel's interest in fashion has led her to work with LA Diaries as a contributor and with blogs which include Smarter and Racked LA as a street style photographer and to also cover all things from fashion events to boutique openings.

Music and Fashion have been a focus recently but Maricel is as diverse as they come. Offering her talents to capture engagement sessions, portraiture and family shoots and weddings.
